Located at Ta’ Qali Artisan Village, MANI is a Centre for Art and Culture shaped by over forty years of manufacturing experience. It is a place where local production, creativity, and community are not trends but long-standing commitments.
It is within this setting that NemNem Candle has found its new home.
What MANI Represents
The name MANI reflects four core values that guide everything created within the MANI Centre.
Manifattura speaks to the act of making. For decades, we have been driven by a passion for producing artisanal products locally, maintaining manufacturing knowledge that has been passed down and refined over time.
Arti represents a deep love for creativity. Art is not decorative at MANI. It is essential. From form to detail, beauty and intention are central to every product and experience.
Novità focuses on innovation and originality. MANI actively encourages new ideas, supporting creatives and makers who are developing fresh concepts and product lines.
Imħabba is the foundation beneath it all. Love for craft, culture, people, and place guides the Centre’s decisions and long-term vision.
These values also closely reflect the philosophy behind NemNem Candle and NemNem Living brands.
Why NemNem Candle Belongs at MANI
NemNem Candle is one of Malta’s leading manufacturers of artistic scented candles. In a short time, it has become a familiar name in local homes, known for originality, strong yet balanced fragrances, and handcrafted quality.
Each candle is poured by hand in small batches. The process is unhurried, allowing care and consistency at every stage. The goal is not to overwhelm a space with scent, but to create atmosphere, warmth, and a sense of calm.
At MANI, NemNem Candle is not simply displayed. It is part of the Centre’s living manufacturing story, alongside other in-house brands and local makers and artists.
Inside MANI Centre
MANI is far more than a retail outlet. At its heart lies the Factory, where more than nine hundred products are produced in-house, ranging from heritage items and souvenirs to candles, home fragrances, and decorative objects.
The MANI Centre also includes dedicated spaces designed to foster creativity and connection. These will eventually include workshops for hands-on experiences, an elegant multipurpose hall for events and exhibitions, a refined eatery, a tranquil conservatory, and a rooftop terrace created for socialising and networking.
The retail outlet itself is a carefully curated space that showcases MANI’s in-house brands alongside selected local producers. The intention is clear. To serve as a principal hub for the exhibition of crafts and art in Malta.
Community and Responsibility
MANI’s mission extends beyond products. The Centre actively supports social responsibility initiatives, including collaboration with correctional facilities and inclusive employment practices. It is committed to ethical conduct, sustainability, and meaningful community engagement.
